From the Coast to the Desert: Where We Bring the Sushi Counter

People often ask me how far I'll travel for a private omakase night, and the honest answer is: pretty far. My Personal Chef is based in Huntington Beach, but over the past year I've set up sushi counters everywhere from beachfront patios near the coast to backyard dinners out toward the desert.

That's really what "From the Coast to the Desert" means as a tagline. It's not a marketing line so much as a description of how my calendar actually looks in a given month — a birthday dinner near the water one week, a corporate event further inland the next, a holiday gathering out past the valley after that. Southern California is spread out, and a private chef service should meet people where they are instead of asking them to come to a restaurant.
